UKM, BANGI: 12 secondary school students of Sekolah Islam ADNI participated in this year’s Pertandingan Olimpiad Matematik Kebangsaan (National Mathematics Olympiad) which was held on 20 July 2019 at Dewan Anuwar Mahmud, Universiti Kebangsaan Malaysia (UKM), where the nation’s best students in Mathematics from all over the country were gathered together to compete with one another to solve challenging problems in mathematics. Olimpiad Matematik Kebangsaan (OMK) is a yearly national competition organised by the Malaysian Mathematical Sciences Society, locally known as Persatuan Sains Matematik Malaysia (PERSAMA) with the aim of producing the nation’s future generations who are highly competent to proactively solve mathematical problems at the international level.
